    YOUTH PARLIAMENT

    The Regional level 34th National Youth Parliament Competition of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Gurugram Region was successfully organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya Chandi Mandir on 11th and 12th September 2023.
    Shri Varun Mitra, Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Gurugram Region, was the chief guest of this two-day program organized to develop parliamentary values and leadership qualities among the students. A total of six teams participated in the competition which included PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya National Security Guard Manesar, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 AFS Gurugram, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Faridabad, Kendriya Vidyalaya Juthoh Cantt, Kendriya Vidyalaya Harsinghpura and Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Ambala.
    All the teams performed brilliantly on various contemporary topics and attracted everyone’s attention. The final winning team of the competition was PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya National Security Guard, Manesar.
    All the participants were awarded certificates and the six best performing students from each team were awarded special prizes by the Deputy Commissioner. The winning team of the Regional competition will lead the Gurugram Region in North Zone to the next level.

    Gurugram Region won the title of 34th Zonal Level National Youth Parliament Competition.
    The zonal level competition in the 34th National Youth Parliament Competition of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs was successfully organized by Delhi Region on 07th and 08th November 2023 under the aegis of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya JNU.

    Gurugram, Jammu, Chandigarh, Dehradun and Delhi regions participated in the zonal level competition of North Zone. On behalf of Gurugram region, The regional winner PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya National Security Guard, Manesar performed brilliantly and got first position in the competition.

    The chief guest of this two-day program, Shri Mahabal Mishra (former MP, West Delhi) started the competition with his motivational speech. MP Mr. Mahabal Mishra, Joint Commissioner Ms. Chandana Mandal and Deputy Secretary from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. AB Acharya played an important role in the jury of the program.

    It is a matter of pride for the school family and the Gurugram Region that the Youth Parliament team of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya National Security Guard, Manesar from Gurugram Region has secured the first position at both regional and zonal level. The team has taken steps towards becoming national champion with its excellent performance, which will be decided after the completion of the competition of all the five zones.

    The eight best performing students were selected from all the teams participating in the competition, who will be awarded along with the national winner in the annual prize distribution ceremony to be held at Parliament House. On behalf of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya National Security Guard Manesar, Ms. Diya Pavalia was selected for the first prize. The Students Arun Kumar and Mehak Yadav were jointly selected for the second prize. Three students, Deeksha Barala, Rukmini and Geetanjali, were selected for the third prize.
