Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Regional Office, Gurugram was established on 1 April 2014 under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Headquarters), New Delhi to cater to the educational needs and overall development of students from various sectors of civil, defense and projects of Haryana, Punjab and Delhi states.

Earlier this regional office was known as Sirsa Regional Office which was established in 2011. After the reorganization of the Regional offices in May 2017, all the Kendriya Vidyalayas of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh were included in Gurugram Region.

There are a total of 61 Kendriya Vidyalayas in this Region. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Gurugram is the only school working in two shifts. Regional office is located in the premises of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Air Force Station, Gurugram.
